Unprotected Citizens

Imprisoned Mind – SteinTSkanvaas

“My home must be somewhere far away… I have been falsely accused and attack here in this country despite the next day, I have tried to excerise my rights against unfair treatment ,unprotected since birth with a glimpse of freedom….”

You may have heard the term unprotected citizens in relation to immigrants that come from their native country to another country fleeing various persecutions. Countries that follow more dicatorship leadership styles, stripping rights of their people away or simply having none. In the last few years the conversation in America is a little murky. The topics of race and no rights based on skin color and classification has brought attention to people voicing their interests of reparations and continued equal treatment. Furthermore, groups of people such as LGBTQ , political, special population groups are showing up for their equal treatment induction. As I type this excerpt I want you to try to envision this question………Where are we? We have all been pulled to belief that despite our similarities we are different and we must agree to disagree on something? Social justice movements have mobilized history again, highlighting the progression as we might have thought to be steady yet relatively slow with mass confusion.

I have asked people what do they want, what change do they want. Many continue to speak on justice and unequal treatment with more accountability. As long as the conversation is good we have accomplished something. Yet the day for a sense of serenity on earth for all lives unprotected or not…….is hardly spoken on. Maybe this is due to the inevitable ways of humans or we dont want to truly see it. Stay tuned…
